Job Title: Manufacturing Head - Production & Process

Department: Production Operations & Process Engineering

Location: Badlapur (East), Dist. Thane – 421503, Maharashtra

Working Days & Timings: Monday to Saturday, 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM

Experience: 10–15 years of total experience in chemical manufacturing. (Majority of professional experience must be in core production operations, with additional strong exposure to process engineering)

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline (Mandatory).

CTC Budget: Up to 12-15 LPA

Overview: This role is suited for a production-focused leader who brings practical plant management strength combined with process engineering insight to scale and strengthen manufacturing operations. Majority of professional experience must be in core production operations, with additional strong exposure to process engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead complete production operations across Industrial Emulsions and Construction chemicals ensuring achievement of daily, monthly, and annual targets.
• Manage manpower, shift planning, output control, and overall plant discipline.
• Drive process engineering initiatives to improve yield, reduce cycle time, enhance batch consistency, and optimize manufacturing cost.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective engineering solutions.
• Redesign and improve manufacturing processes to support capacity expansion and scale-up plans.
• Work closely with R&D for successful commercialization and plant-scale execution of new product developments.
• Strengthen SOP adherence, batch controls, and quality checkpoints within production.
• Optimize raw material usage and reduce operational losses.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and quality systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline (Mandatory).
• 10–15 years of total experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Majority of professional experience must be in core production operations, with additional strong exposure to process engineering.
• Proven hands-on experience in managing batch manufacturing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to improve plant productivity, operational efficiency, and cost performance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and engineering problem-solving skills.
• Leadership capability to manage plant teams and drive operational discipline.
• Strategic mindset with the potential to grow into broader factory operations leadership.
