Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Navi Mumbai for a Head of Engineering Design (Mechanical). The role involves overseeing and managing the engineering design team to ensure the development of innovative mechanical systems that meet project requirements. Responsibilities include leading design projects, managing team performance, collaborating with cross-functional departments, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and driving continuous improvement within the engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Team Management and Team Leadership, with the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams effectively.
• Strong skills in Engineering Management and Project Management, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality projects.
• Familiarity with Software Development relevant to mechanical engineering projects and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience in designing material handling systems or similar heavy equipment is a strong advantage.
