Udit Group of Companies Limited is strengthening its technical team to support competitive bidding and efficient execution of highway EPC projects.

We are seeking an experienced highway design professional who can review project designs, analyse DPR drawings, and identify opportunities for engineering optimisation and cost reduction.

The role focuses on bringing engineering intelligence into the tendering process, allowing the company to improve bid competitiveness through design improvements and alternative technical solutions.

This position will work closely with tendering, planning, and project teams to evaluate designs and propose technically compliant solutions that improve project economics.

Key ResponsibilitiesDPR & Tender Design Review

• Review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and tender drawings
• Analyse geometric design, pavement structure, and structural elements
• Identify areas where design optimisation is possible

Value Engineering

Develop engineering strategies to improve project cost efficiency, including:

• pavement layer optimisation
• earthwork balancing strategies
• bridge and culvert design optimisation
• drainage system improvements
• material usage efficiency

Alternate Design Development

• Prepare technically sound alternate design proposals
• Ensure compliance with IRC and MoRTH standards
• Coordinate with design consultants for validation where required

Tender Strategy Support

• Support the tendering department with engineering inputs
• Identify cost-saving opportunities before bid submission
• Analyse technical risks in tender documents

Execution Support

• Assist project teams in resolving design-related issues during construction
• Review design changes and engineering clarifications
• Coordinate with external design consultants and authorities

Mandatory Skills

Candidates must have strong expertise in:

• highway geometric design principles
• pavement design concepts
• bridge and culvert structural systems
• interpretation of DPR drawings and technical specifications

Technical Knowledge

Candidates should be familiar with:

• IRC codes and guidelines
• MoRTH specifications
• highway design standards used in NHAI projects

Software Skills

Working knowledge of one or more of the following:

• AutoCAD Civil / Civil 3D
• MX Road or equivalent highway design software
• pavement design tools

Experience Requirement

10–20 years in highway design, infrastructure engineering, or design consultancy.

Candidates must have worked on highway projects valued above ₹100 crore.

Preferred Candidate Background

Suitable candidates may currently be working as:

• Highway Design Manager
• Senior Highway Design Engineer
• Infrastructure Design Consultant
• Design Review Engineer – Highway Projects

Experience with organisations such as:

• Egis
• AECOM
• Systra
• Feedback Infra
• L&T Transportation Infrastructure

or similar highway design consultancies will be highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
