About the Company
Shivarth Projects is a real estate development and asset management company based in Ahmedabad with a portfolio spanning commercial offices, retail spaces, coworking environments, and warehousing developments.
The group has developed and manages multiple commercial assets including Grade A office buildings, premium retail spaces, and modern workspaces across the city.
Karma Workspaces, an initiative by Shivarth Projects, is a premium coworking and managed office brand designed for startups, SMEs, and enterprise clients. Karma Workspaces offers fully serviced offices, private cabins, and collaborative workspaces with hospitality-driven service standards and modern infrastructure.
The company currently manages several commercial assets and continues to expand its portfolio in office, retail, and logistics developments.
About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Operations Manager who will oversee the day-to-day operations of our coworking facility and building operations.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of the building, maintaining strong client relationships, managing vendors and facility teams, and ensuring a professional and well-maintained work environment for all occupants.
The role requires someone who can take ownership of the building operations and client servicing while maintaining high standards of facility management and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Building & Facility Operations
* Oversee daily operations of the coworking facility and building.
* Ensure smooth functioning of infrastructure including internet, power backup, air-conditioning, and utilities.
* Maintain cleanliness, upkeep, and presentation of common areas and workspaces.
* Coordinate with security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
* Manage visitor entry systems and building access control.
* Oversee parking operations and ensure smooth vehicle movement within the premises.
Client Relationship Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for coworking clients and office occupants.
* Handle client onboarding and workspace orientation.
* Address client grievances and resolve operational issues efficiently.
* Build strong professional relationships with clients to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
Front Desk & Guest Experience
* Ensure professional handling of visitors and guests.
* Manage meeting room bookings and shared facility usage.
* Step in to assist at the front desk when required.
* Maintain hospitality standards across the workspace.
Vendor & Service Management
* Coordinate with vendors including housekeeping, security, internet providers, maintenance contractors, and utility service providers.
* Ensure service quality and timely completion of tasks.
* Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues when required.
Administrative & Operational Reporting
* Maintain operational records and documentation.
* Track occupancy levels and workspace utilization.
* Prepare periodic operational reports for management.
* Support management with administrative and operational coordination.
Team Supervision
* Supervise housekeeping staff, security personnel, and support staff.
* Ensure discipline, schedules, and operational standards are maintained.
Candidate Profile
Experience
* 3–8 years of experience in coworking spaces, hospitality, facility management, real estate operations, or office administration.
Skills
* Strong communication and client relationship skills
* Good organizational and problem-solving ability
* Ability to handle multiple operational responsibilities
* Vendor management experience
* Basic proficiency in MS Excel and office reporting
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
