About the Role

We're not looking for someone who just writes prompts. We're looking for someone who thinks like a filmmaker, builds like an engineer, and leads like a producer.

You'll sit at the intersection of storytelling and technology, someone who's obsessed with what's newly possible in Gen AI, relentless about solving the problems that come with it, and sharp enough to know when the data is telling you something the eye can't see. If you're the person your team already comes to when a workflow breaks, a tool update changes everything overnight, or a shot just isn't landing. This role is built for you.

What You'll Do

• Lead the creative and technical execution of AI-generated content across commercials, branded films, social content, and experimental media.
• Apply real filmmaking craft-shot design, camera language, composition, lighting, pacing, continuity to AI-generated visuals and sequences.
• Stay ahead of the curve: track, test, and adopt new Gen AI tools and model updates before they become table stakes.
• Build and refine multi-tool workflows (image, video, compositing, post) that get to production-ready faster and better.
• Troubleshoot creative and technical roadblocks independently, you're the person who finds a way through, not around.
• Use data to inform creative decisions, tracking what's working, iterating based on performance, and bringing analytical rigor to a traditionally instinct-led process.
• Mentor and manage a small team of Gen AI creators, keeping quality, morale, and momentum high across projects.
• Partner closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Editors, and Producers to keep the creative vision intact from brief to final cut.

What We're Looking For

Creative Craft

• 4+ years in filmmaking, content creation, advertising, production, or creative technology.
• A real grasp of cinematic storytelling, cinematography, framing, lensing, lighting, editing, narrative structure.
• The ability to think in sequences and stories, not just standalone images.

Gen AI Expertise

• Hands-on fluency across multiple Gen AI tools: Midjourney, Nano Banana, Seedance, Kling, Sora, Flux, ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong prompt engineering instincts, and a habit of staying current as tools and models evolve week to week.
• A genuine understanding of where AI breaks down — and the creativity to work around it.

Problem-Solving & Ownership

• A resourceful, unblock-it-yourself mindset. You don't wait for permission to fix something.
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing tools. You find this exciting, not stressful.

Analytical & Leadership Skills

• Comfortable pulling insight from data, engagement metrics, workflow efficiency, output quality and using it to shape decisions.
• Experience managing or mentoring a team, with the patience to teach and the standards to push people higher.

Bonus Points

• Experience in editing, compositing, VFX, motion graphics, or animation.
