General Manager - Operations

We are a leading Canadian logistics company headquartered in Vancouver, with global operations delivering innovative supply chain solutions. As part of our expansion in India, we are looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead our India office, manage processes, and drive operational excellence.

Job Description:

The General Manager – India Operations will oversee the entire office, including logistics, business development, administration, and a team of 50 employees. You will be responsible for implementing efficient processes, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring alignment with our global standards.

We are looking for someone who can do the NIGHT SHIFT.

Our operations are as per West Canada timings - 7am -5pm PST.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the India office, including a team of 50 employees.
• Develop and implement efficient processes across logistics, warehousing, transportation, and office management.
• Monitor KPIs, operational performance, and implement improvements.
• Drive business development initiatives and build client relationships.
• Manage budgets, resources, and ensure operational profitability.
• Ensure compliance with Indian statutory regulations and company policies.
• Report regularly to the Canada leadership team on performance, growth, and risks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics.
• Proven experience managing large teams (30–50 employees) and office operations.
• Strong understanding of Indian business and regulatory environment.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hands on Computer knowledge is must. (MS Office, ERP systems, logistics software).
