Location: Vilmaris Hotel, North Goa
Vilmaris Hotel is a premium hospitality destination in Goa, dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized service, modern amenities, and operational excellence. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our property, drive business growth, and maintain the highest standards of hospitality.
The General Manager will oversee the complete operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, strong financial performance, and efficient management across all departments. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and revenue optimization.
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, Sales & Marketing, and Finance.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all hotel departments while maintaining premium service standards.
- Conduct daily operational meetings and property inspections.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction and memorable experiences.
- Personally handle VIP guests and resolve escalated guest concerns.
- Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and implement continuous service improvements.
- Achieve revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability targets.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Control operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Identify new revenue opportunities through packages, events, corporate business, and partnerships.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop departmental heads and hotel staff.
- Foster a positive, high-performance work culture.
- Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations.
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to increase direct bookings and corporate partnerships.
- Build relationships with travel agents, OTAs, event planners, and corporate clients.
- Support digital marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and seasonal packages.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's Degree is preferred.
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a General Manager, Resident Manager, or Operations Head in a premium hotel or resort.
- Experience managing boutique hotels or luxury hospitality properties is highly preferred.
