Frontend Developer

We’re looking for a proactive React.js specialist to join our agile Technology and Innovation team. You’ll build engaging vessel mapping features, real-time geospatial visualizations, and seamless data experiences that power decision-making for 60,000+ maritime professionals worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compelling frontend features using React.js, delivering pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
• Integrate Leaflet (or similar geospatial libraries) for vessel mapping and real-time positioning visualizations.
• Consume and integrate RESTful WebAPI and GraphQL endpoints while collaborating with AWS backend services (Lambda, RDS, queuing).
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Identity Server.
• Optimize application performance, page load times, and overall user experience.
• Write unit tests (Jest), participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Work within Scrum processes across multiple distributed teams, driving continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux (with Sagas), HTML5, Tailwind CSS, Sass, Webpack, Jest, Yarn, and Git.
• Practical experience with Leaflet or other geospatial mapping libraries.
• Solid experience integrating APIs (WebAPI & GraphQL) and debugging complex client-server interactions.
• Full understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication skills for working in a globally distributed, cross-functional team.
• Foundational knowledge of C# and .NET (sufficient to understand backend logic, troubleshoot integrations, and collaborate effectively on full-stack codebases).

Desirable (a plus, not mandatory):

• Exposure to AWS services or serverless architectures (Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• Familiarity with Radix-UI, React Router, TanStack, Google Maps, or similar tools.
• Experience with Identity Server, OAuth, or modern authentication solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Docker containerization.
