Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Freelance Illustrator role based in Chennai. The Illustrator will create original artwork that reflects Śasva Parfums’ visual language for packaging, labels, marketing materials, and digital content. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing illustration concepts from creative briefs, producing digital and hand-drawn art, and collaborating with the design and marketing teams to refine visuals. The role also involves preparing artwork files for production, iterating based on feedback, and ensuring consistency with brand guidelines across all illustrated assets. The Illustrator will be expected to manage timelines, maintain organized files, and participate in in-person reviews and brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Digital Illustration and Graphic Design skills for brand, packaging, and marketing artwork.
• Candidates should possess solid Drawing and Painting skills for concept art, character work, and hand-rendered visuals.
• Candidates should possess a good understanding of Graphics and visual composition, including color, layout, and typography alignment.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate or similar) is beneficial.
• Relevant experience in branding, editorial, or product illustration, preferably in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai, follow creative direction, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• A portfolio demonstrating a range of illustration styles and projects is required; formal education in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field is a plus.
