Flight Engineer | $62/hr - Remote

Position: Airline Pilot, Copilot, or Flight Engineer

Type: Hourly contract (Full-time)

Compensation: $40-$62/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Pilot and navigate commercial aircraft through all phases of flight including takeoff, cruise, and landing.
• Operate and monitor aircraft systems, controls, and instrumentation in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Use advanced navigation tools and flight instruments to maintain operational accuracy, including in adverse weather conditions.
• Perform comprehensive pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections to identify equipment or safety issues.
• Collaborate closely with copilots, flight engineers, cabin crew, and air traffic control to ensure coordinated operations.
• Continuously track aircraft performance, fuel levels, weather patterns, and route adherence.
• Respond effectively to in-flight emergencies, technical malfunctions, or safety incidents.
• Maintain detailed flight logs, operational documentation, and regulatory compliance records.

Requirements

• Proven expertise operating modern aircraft and associated onboard systems.
• Strong proficiency interpreting gauges, instruments, and real-time flight data.
• Excellent critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with strong situational awareness.
• Solid understanding of aviation safety protocols, airline procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary aviation teams.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, professional environment.
