Role Description The Finishing Foreman will oversee and coordinate all finishing works on-site, including carpentry, painting, tiling, and final fittings, ensuring alignment with project drawings and quality standards. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai involves supervising finishing teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and resolving technical or practical issues that arise during execution. The Finishing Foreman will inspect completed work, manage snag lists, and ensure timely completion of interiors while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company procedures. Daily responsibilities include liaising with project managers and subcontractors, verifying materials and equipment availability, maintaining work records, and communicating clearly with stakeholders to keep the project on schedule and within quality expectations.
Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills with experience leading finishing or interior construction teams on-site.
• Practical knowledge of carpentry and finishing trades, including fit-outs, fixtures, and interior detailing.
• Ability to work with and coordinate heavy equipment and construction tools safely and efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with workers, contractors, and project management.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, and quality inspection of interior finishes and structures.
• Proven background in civil or interior contracting projects, preferably in commercial or residential settings.
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and basic measurement techniques.
• Commitment to workplace safety, site discipline, and adherence to company policies and local regulations.
• Minimum of a relevant vocational qualification or diploma in civil engineering, construction, or a related field; prior experience in a foreman or lead role is highly preferred.
