Job Description
Project Executive - Visit Clinic
Role Purpose
To execute end-to-end setup of new smart clinics, ensuring timely, budget-controlled, and fully integrated “plug-and-play” readiness for clinical operations.
Core Responsibilities
1. Site Fit Out & Build Execution
- Supervise civil contractors, MEP teams, architects, and interior vendors.
- Ensure layout supports optimal patient flow, infection control, and brand standards.
- Validate site readiness: electrical load, UPS backup, grounding, HVAC, plumbing, and structured cabling pathways.
2. Smart Infrastructure & IT Deployment
- Coordinate installation of high-speed LAN/Wi-Fi networks for EMR tablets and medical IoT devices.
- Oversee setup of server racks, networking cabinets, access control, CCTV, digital signage, and smart lighting.
- Ensure data redundancy and secure internet connectivity prior to go-live.
3. Medical & Smart Hardware Coordination
- Liaise with BME consultants for installation readiness of:
- Basic radiology (X-Ray room shielding & power requirements)
- USG/ECHO systems
- ECG, TMT, PFT equipment
- Lab analysers and pharmacy cold-chain units
- Ensure specialized electrical, ventilation, and space requirements are provisioned during shell-and-core phase.
4. Vendor & Procurement Management
- Source and manage vendors for:
- Medical furniture and modular workstations
- Laboratory automation systems
- Pharmacy refrigeration and smart storage systems
- Negotiate pricing, track delivery timelines, and ensure quality compliance.
5. Timeline & Budget Control
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans (MS Project/Asana).
- Monitor milestone adherence and manage interdependencies.
- Control CAPEX spend and prevent cost overruns.
- Ensure on-time “Go-Live” execution.
6. Regulatory & Compliance Coordination
- Coordinate with legal/compliance teams to secure:
- Trade and municipal permits
- Fire safety NOC
- Biomedical waste authorization
- Basic radiology licensing (where applicable)
- Ensure documentation is complete before launch.
Smart Clinic Focus Areas
Data Connectivity
- Ensure seamless Wi-Fi coverage across consultation rooms, labs, pharmacy, and waiting areas.
- Enable reliable integration of EMR, lab systems, and diagnostic devices.
Pharmacy & Lab Readiness
- Ensure dedicated circuits, temperature monitoring points, ventilation, and drainage for lab/pharmacy equipment.
- Align infrastructure with BME technical specifications.
Patient Experience & UX
- Implement smart waiting areas with:
- Digital token systems
- Display boards
- Charging stations
- Ensure intuitive patient navigation and signage.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or Project Management.
- PMP certification preferred or similar experience in establishing & managing new setup
Experience
- 3–5 years in healthcare or retail rollout projects.
- Experience managing multi-site clinic launches preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Asana, or similar tools.
- Ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings.
- Strong vendor negotiation and coordination skills.
- Budget tracking and cost-control capability.
Mobility
- Willingness to travel across clinic locations during rollout phases.
