Job Description
Job Requirements
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and forecasting processes, developing detailed budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify the key drivers of business performance and provide insights into areas for improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that reflect the company's financial performance against established financial targets.
- Manage the month-end financial close process (Accruals and Reconciliations) to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial statements, analysis, and reporting.
- Provide financial leadership by collaborating with functional leaders across the business to drive financial results, identify and mitigate risks, and promote continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all financial activities are following accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide financial insight and support to various business units.
- Develop and optimize financial processes to enhance efficiency and ensure consistency across the organization.
Mandatory Skills
- 7+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
Preferred Skills
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, MBA) is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take ownership and drive work to completion
- Prioritizing work
- Exposure to interacting with different stakeholders
