The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting I&W accoutning for all the product groups to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting on I&W cost and GL reconciliations.

The impact you’ll make

This role requires a strong Financial Analyst who can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, provide insightful analysis. You’re in a high visibility role working with internal business partners at all levels and across functions, on challenging and rewarding projects that help shape Lam's financial strategies and decisions for the future.The analyst will have to collaborate with various business partners across cross functional teams (CFTs) to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The person must be able to multitask in a complex and demanding environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform I&W month close and quarter close activities and provide reconciliations.
• I&W Contract maintainance and reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries per I&W accounting requirements.
• Identify and support business process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Build trusted business relationships, gain deep understanding of the business, and act as an advisor providing actionable insights from growth opportunities to cost savings.
• Initiating and engaging in continuous process improvement.
• Work on standardization and automation work.
• Support internal and external audits, as well as controls and compliance related activities.
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• CA Inter/CMA Inter/ MBA with minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Understanding of US GAAP is a plus.
• Strong Excel modeling skills required.
• Attention to detail, well organized, high standard of accuracy and ability to multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
  
  

Work timings will overlap with NA for 4 hours (8pm to 12am). Should be open to stretch during Month/Quarter close and Planning cycles and support stakeholders as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of US GAAP.
• Prior experience within technology, manufacturing, or related industries.
• SAP and Business Objects experience is highly desirable or demonstrable strong systems skills.
• Experience in business intelligence (BI) technologies, tools, and concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams including occasional flexible schedules to accommodate time zones.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
