Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with Hydro PSP’s strategic objectives and operational priorities.
Implement and manage SAP-based financial systems to enhance accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
Monitor and control project costs, providing detailed variance analysis and actionable insights to support decision-making.
Lead taxation and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations while optimizing tax efficiency.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the financial stability and sustainability of Hydro PSP operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance and recommend strategies for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the COO and other senior stakeholders, providing insights into financial health and operational performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Support the evaluation and financial due diligence of new projects or investments within the Hydro PSP business unit.
Ensure effective cash flow management and working capital optimization to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
Lender Management : MIS Reporting to Lender , Coordination with cross functional team for the compliance of Pre Disbursement Condition and post disbursement.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
Proven expertise in using SAP for financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
Expertise in risk management and financial analysis within large-scale infrastructure projects
