We are looking for an experienced and skilled Field Piping Engineer to join our team at the Panipat refinery. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating piping installation activities at the site while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Supervise piping fabrication, installation, erection, and testing activities at the refinery site.
  • Review piping drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and project specifications before execution.
  • Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, welders, and QA/QC personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, project schedules, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and verify piping alignment, supports, routing, and material usage.
  • Ensure proper execution of hydro testing, flushing, leak testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Resolve technical issues arising during installation and provide engineering support on site.
  • Prepare daily progress reports and maintain documentation related to piping activities.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and project review discussions.
  • Ensure all work follows refinery standards, codes, and client requirements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in piping construction or field piping engineering in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, welding practices, and refinery construction standards.
  • Familiarity with P&IDs, isometric drawings, and piping layouts.
  • Knowledge of ASME standards, safety procedures, and quality control practices.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in refinery and industrial site environments.
