Key Responsibilities

Deliver core and elective courses in Computer Science & Engineering
Design and update curriculum, labs, and assessment strategies
Integrate modern tools, coding platforms, and experiential learning approaches
Ensure alignment with institutional and regulatory standards
Conduct high-impact research and publish in reputed journals and conferences
Secure research funding and lead/participate in funded projects
Foster innovation, patents, and technology transfer initiatives
Collaborate across disciplines and institutions
Provide academic leadership at program/department level
Mentor junior faculty and support professional development
Contribute to accreditation, rankings, and quality assurance processes
Participate in strategic planning and institutional governance
Build partnerships with technology companies, startups, and research labs
Facilitate internships, capstone projects, and hackathons
Contribute to consultancy, executive education, and innovation ecosystems
Mentor students in academics, research, and career development
Support student innovation, entrepreneurship, and competitions
Foster an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Uphold academic integrity and ethical research practices
Ensure compliance with institutional, UGC, and AICTE guidelines
Maintain safe and responsible use of labs and computing resources

Qualifications & Experience

PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (mandatory for most roles)
Strong foundation in core CSE subjects and emerging technologies
Demonstrated teaching excellence (level-dependent)
Proven research track record with publications (expected for senior roles)
Industry experience or collaboration exposure preferred
Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
