We’re Hiring | Facility Manager – Gurukulam Schools (PhysicsWallah)

Location: Shikhar Samajik Kalyankari Sanstha – School, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

Gurukulam Schools – PhysicsWallah is looking for an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to manage end-to-end facility operations at our Lucknow campus. The role requires hands-on experience in school or college facility management, with a strong focus on safety, hygiene, compliance, and smooth campus operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall facility operations including buildings, classrooms, hostels, utilities, and common areas
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and upkeep of infrastructure (electrical, plumbing, civil, HVAC, etc.)
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for housekeeping, security, transport, and maintenance
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and statutory compliance as per school norms and internal policies
• Monitor facility budgets and optimize resource utilization
• Conduct regular audits and inspections and proactively close gaps
• Act as a single point of contact between school administration, operations teams, and vendors
• Handle emergency situations efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to academic activities
• Support new campus setup, expansion, and operational readiness

Who Can Apply:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in school or college facility management (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure maintenance, vendor management, and compliance
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced academic environments
• Ability to manage operations independently

Preferred Profile:

• Experience in residential schools, hostels, or large campuses
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
