Role Overview:


Responsible for managing end-to-end tendering activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, ensuring timely submission, compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Handle complete tender lifecycle on the GeM portal (search, analysis, participation, submission, follow-up).
  • Regularly monitor the GeM portal for relevant tenders and opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit bids in compliance with tender requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, finance, technical) for documentation and pricing inputs.
  • Ensure all documentation (technical & commercial) is accurate and submitted as per guidelines.
  • Maintain a database of tenders, submissions, and outcomes for tracking and reporting.
  • Manage vendor registration, product listing, and catalog updates on the GeM portal.
  • Follow up with authorities for bid status, clarifications, and order finalization.
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and procedures.
  • Handle post-order activities like order acceptance, invoicing coordination, and delivery tracking.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience working on GeM portal and government tenders is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of tender documentation and bidding process.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and documentation handling.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in tender management / government sales.
