Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, including Record Producers, Catalog Items, and related workflows.
- Configure and enhance Service Catalog, Portal, and Workspace.
- Implement UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Assignment Rules, and other automation.
- Design and maintain Catalog UI Policies and Catalog Client Scripts.
- Configure Request Management processes, approval workflows, and SLAs.
- Build and maintain REST API integrations with external systems.
- Develop server-side logic using Glide APIs, Script Includes, and server scripts.
- Configure Workspace layouts, forms, lists, and dashboards.
- Build flows using Flow Designer and integrations using Integration Hub.
- Configure email notifications, inbound/outbound email actions, email client templates, and mail scripts.
- Configure and develop reports and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve defects, and optimize performance while maintaining minimal technical debt.
- Work with scoped applications, manage update sets, and ensure best practice governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAjax, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Catalog Items, Record Producers, Service Portal, and Workspace.
- Experience with REST API integrations.
- Good understanding of Request Management, approvals, and workflows.
- Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- Proficiency in email configurations and reports/dashboards.
- Experience with scoped applications, update sets, and migration processes.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and governance.
