Job Title: English Teacher (Classes 5–12)

Location: DPS, Agra

Job Overview:

Delhi Public School (DPS), Agra is seeking passionate and qualified English teachers for Classes 5 to 12. We are open to hiring multiple candidates across primary, middle, and senior levels. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering strong language and communication skills among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English language and literature to assigned classes (5–12, based on expertise)
• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with CBSE curriculum
• Focus on grammar, reading, writing, and spoken English skills
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and classroom participation
• Conduct assessments, tests, and evaluations regularly
• Provide remedial support to students as required
• Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English (B.A./M.A. English)
• B.Ed. is mandatory
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience (relevant to applied grade levels)
• Strong command over English language and communication skills
• Familiarity with CBSE curriculum preferred
• Ability to handle different age groups (primary/middle/senior school)

Preferred Skills:

• Activity-based teaching approach (especially for Classes 5–8)
• Experience in board exam preparation (for Classes 9–12)
• Classroom management and student engagement skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
