We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Controls Design Project Lead with strong expertise in Battery Pack and EV Charging Station product development. The role involves electrical architecture design, PLC/controls integration, and system-level engineering from concept to production.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Controls Design Project Lead with strong expertise in Battery Pack and EV Charging Station product development. The role involves electrical architecture design, PLC/controls integration, and system-level engineering from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical schematics for battery packs, battery modules, and EV charging systems
- Develop high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical and control architectures
- Design busbars for high-current battery applications
- Develop and support wire harness design, including conductor sizing, connector selection, and routing
- Manage cable routing within battery enclosures, ensuring clearance and creepage compliance
- Perform electronic component selection (connectors, relays, fuses, sensors, protection devices)
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept through production
- Collaborate with mechanical teams for 3D integration using SolidWorks
- Conduct and support design reviews, DFMEA/DFMA, validation, testing, and debugging
- Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, ANSI, ISO, NEC, and NFPA standards
- Prepare and maintain electrical schematics, PLC documentation, as-built drawings, and engineering reports
- B.E / M.E in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics / Controls Engineering
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in electrical design and product development
- Strong experience in Battery Pack / Energy Storage / EV Charging Systems
- Hands-on experience in PLC & Controls (Allen-Bradley / Siemens preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks Electrical
- Strong understanding of EV systems and battery technologies
- Experience with high-voltage safety and design standards
- Knowledge of DFMEA, DFMA, and validation processes
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
