Job Title: Ecommerce Direct Sales Manager (EDSM)

Job Summary

The Ecommerce Direct Sales Manager (EDSM) will play a key role in driving B2C customer acquisition across the assigned zone/region through channel partners. This position focuses on expanding ecommerce logistics business by aligning DTDC’s product offerings with the needs of channel partners, MSMEs, and SMEs. The ideal candidate will bring strong sales acumen, deep ecommerce industry knowledge, and the ability to build and manage high-impact partner and client relationships to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned targets, managing the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Build, nurture, and strengthen relationships with channel partners to enhance ecommerce penetration within the region.
  • Conduct training and enablement sessions for channel partners, highlighting the commercial and operational benefits of ecommerce logistics solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and expansion areas.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to align regional sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive retention, repeat business, and account growth.
  • Identify potential clusters and new avenues to expand the B2C customer base.
  • Understand client requirements and challenges, and propose customized logistics solutions aligned with DTDC’s offerings.
  • Conduct regular joint client meetings with channel partners to ensure service satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process including prospecting, negotiations, contracting, and deal closure.
  • Work closely with operations and channel partner teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.
  • Track, monitor, and report sales performance, providing insights for continuous improvement and corrective action.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region to support revenue growth.
  • Partner with marketing teams to promote services and generate high-quality leads.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to refine and optimize sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Commercial team to ensure timely collections and financial discipline.
  • Support and guide internal stakeholders to promote cross-functional collaboration and organizational growth.
  • Drive focused upselling and cross-selling initiatives for ecommerce products by leveraging customer insights and market intelligence.
