Join our dynamic team at Sasken Technologies as a Lead Engineer - Apps & Drivers - RTOS. As a technical lead, you will take ownership of a module and associated quality and delivery. You will provide guidance and instructions to team members to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Your role involves identifying key challenges, prioritizing tasks, and delivering results with minimal supervision. With an in-depth understanding of technology, standards, and processes, you will investigate root causes and propose alternative solutions. As a mentor, you will participate in technical initiatives, enhance technical capabilities, and contribute to project and organizational success.

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct requirement analysis, feasibility study, and system-level work estimation.
Design, code, test, and provide technical support in the assigned area.
Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality and productivity goals.
Perform code optimization and coverage.
Conduct reviews, identify risks, and ensure quality of deliverables.
Identify training needs of the team and contribute to technical initiatives.
Serve as a technical mentor for junior members.
May involve managing people based on the discretion of the Project Manager.

Education And Experience Required

Engineering graduate or MCA.

Competencies Description

Experience in RTOS design & development, bug fixing, and domains such as Multimedia, Telephony, Connectivity.
Proficiency in Kernel & Drivers, middleware, and applications layers.
Familiarity with platforms like AMX, Nucleus, QNX, FreeRTOS, VxWorks.
Knowledge of tools such as Makefiles, JTAG, Lauterbach.
Proficient in C and C++ programming languages.
Specialization in DRIVERS, MIDDLEWARE/APE, APPLICATION, SYSTEM.
