Job Summary

The Draftsman will create precise technical drawings and plans using CAD software to support engineering projects in construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing. This role involves collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet specifications and regulations. Based in Nashik, the position suits candidates with civil or mechanical backgrounds, common in local engineering firms.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare rough sketches and detailed 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools based on specifications and calculations.
Review and revise drawings with the engineering team, ensuring compliance with building codes and project standards.
Perform material calculations, identify design issues, and coordinate with architects for accurate blueprints.
Maintain drawing libraries and support tendering or estimation processes as needed.

Qualifications And Experience

Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, ITI in Draftsman (Civil/Mechanical), or equivalent; B.E./B.Tech preferred.
5+ years of experience in drafting for engineering projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit advantageous.
Familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of Nashik's infrastructure sector (e.g., roads, buildings) is a plus.
