Director of Training – Full-Time (On-Site) | Miami, FL
The Director of Training is responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive training programs that support organizational excellence, operational efficiency, and the consistent delivery of high-quality customer service. This leadership role will ensure that all training initiatives align with company objectives, industry best practices, and evolving business needs.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining structured training curricula for new hires and existing employees, developing instructional materials, and delivering engaging training sessions across multiple departments. The Director of Training will oversee onboarding programs, professional development initiatives, and ongoing performance-based training to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools required to perform their roles effectively. In addition, the Director will manage the training department’s budget, allocate resources efficiently, and evaluate the overall effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics, employee feedback, and operational outcomes. The role requires the ability to analyze learning needs, identify skill gaps, and implement targeted training solutions that support both individual growth and organizational success. The Director of Training will collaborate closely with executive leadership, department managers, and team members to assess workforce development needs, implement innovative learning strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position also involves staying informed on current training methodologies, technologies, and industry trends to ensure programs remain relevant, effective, and scalable.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership position based in Miami, Florida.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in Curriculum Development and Training & Development
- Proven ability to deliver Training and Employee Training programs effectively
- Strong skills in resource allocation
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in developing and using learning management systems (LMS)
- Ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness
- Bilingual, Spanish/English is required
