Job Description

Role Overview


  • Position: HR Manager
  • Type: Full-time | On-site (📍Ahmedabad Office & Changodar Plant)
  • Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon - Sat)
  • CTC: ₹5 - ₹9 LPA (Based on attitude, skills & experience)


Non-negotiables


  • Zero-Compromise Execution: Take direct management requirements (exact skills, work ethic, budget) and deliver the exact candidate.
  • Dual-Channel Sourcing: Manage active applications via job portals while relentlessly headhunting passive, top-tier talent. You must find and convince the best candidates to join.
  • Skill vs. Attitude Assessment: Evaluate all candidates against a strict matrix. Hire for Right Skill + Right Attitude.
  • Psychological Profiling: Identify individual candidate motivators. Know exactly what the company must provide to maximize their output and retention.
  • Decisive Terminations: Recognize immediately when an employee is failing and execute improvement programs or terminations.


Key Responsibilities


Talent Acquisition (White & Blue Collar):

  • Take full ownership of the recruitment cycle.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for corporate (sales, admin, etc.), lab (engineers, researchers, etc.) and plant (operators, inventory staff, etc.) roles.
  • Manage and coordinate directly with external labor contractors to ensure a continuous and reliable pipeline of plant staff.
  • Headhunt passive candidates and manage job portal postings.
  • Conduct first-round interviews to assess technical fit, salary expectations, and cultural alignment.
  • Schedule final director interviews, providing summary notes and suggested questions.


Employee Relations & Culture:

  • Conduct regular one-on-one interviews with current employees to assess performance and morale.
  • Actively reinforce company culture and discipline across both the corporate office and the manufacturing plant.
  • Evaluate internal dynamics and suggest decisive next steps to management (e.g., specific retention tactics, promotions, or performance improvement plans).


HR Operations & System Setup:

  • Take over payroll, attendance, and leave management.
  • Establish formal HR policies, grievance redressal systems, and performance review structures.


Onboarding & Off-boarding:

  • Conduct orientation and training for new hires.
  • Manage employee data and HR modules within the ERP system.
  • Execute exit interviews, full-and-final settlements, and off-boarding documentation.


Mandatory Qualifications


  • Experience: 4 - 10 years of HR experience in a corporate + manufacturing environment. Proven history of active headhunting.


  • Education: Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).


  • Skills: Exceptional BS-detector, high persuasion skills, conflict resolution, and organizational discipline.


  • Technical: Strong familiarity with ERP systems and file management.


  • Languages: Fluent English (corporate docs & interviews), Gujarati and Hindi (plant communication & interviews).
