Facility: Brinton Manor, a Skilled Nursing Facility offering long-term care and short-term stay services.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Director of Maintenance, you will:

  • Assume administrative authority for supervising and directing the maintenance department.
  • Develop and implement repair and maintenance schedules for the facility and grounds.
  • Supervise and coordinate repair and maintenance contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain the appearance and safety of the facility, ensuring accessibility for residents, staff, and visitors.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is required.
  • Knowledge of Department of Health Surveys and ability to develop Plans of Correction.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Mastery-level technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural maintenance.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and government agencies.
  • Commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights as necessary.
  • Requires manual dexterity for fine grasping and manipulations.
