We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with additional experience in hydraulic systems. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment to keep them running smoothly and safely.

We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with additional experience in hydraulic systems. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment to keep them running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and related components
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex engine and hydraulic issues
- Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently, following company standards and safety protocols
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks
- Assist with other duties as needed, including occasional driving of company vehicles
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal diesel mechanic training program preferred
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and hydraulic systems
- Hydraulic experience is a plus
- Possession of a valid CDL is a plus
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify engine and hydraulic issues
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be willing to travel between our two office locations (Rocky Hill, CT/Haverhill, MA)
