Job Responsibilities :

The Senior Design Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design and planning of structural components in construction projects specially in Building Engineering domain. This role ensures that all structural designs are accurate, meet the required safety standards, comply with relevant codes and regulations, and are delivered on time and within budget. The Structural Design Coordinator works closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution. The Senior Structural Design Coordinator will report to Lead Structure Design Coordinator.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to integrate structural designs with other building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Serve as a liaison between the design team and contractors to ensure the designs are interpreted correctly during construction.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding design updates and project timelines.
• Ensure that all structural designs are aligned with the project requirements, architectural design, and client expectations.
• Work with design teams to resolve design issues and recommend changes to improve functionality and cost-effectiveness.
  
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Experience in structural design, engineering, or related roles in the construction or design industry.
• Experience in managing or coordinating design projects, including working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good understanding of Analytical & Structural design principles, building codes, and familiar with construction standards.

Software :

• Familiarity with structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD) is highly advantageous.
• BIM - Exposure to 3D Software like Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD will be added advantage
  
  
  

Education Requirement :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed Institute
  
  
  

Experience Requirement :

• 3 to 8 Years in a Consultancy or Real Estate Developer Background
