Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a blend of marketing creativity, analytical skills, and industry experience to drive effective marketing strategies for the e-comm Business team.

 

Job Type: Full–Time (Work from Office)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 4-5 years


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive topline and bottom-line growth in line with company objectives.
  • Monitor revenue, margin and their contribution to overall business targets.
  • Regularly review category performance and present updates to senior management.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in the category to ensure growth on a month-on-month basis.
  • Develop and implement category strategies, including pricing, product assortment, and promotional plans.
  • Benchmark category performance against competitors and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the sourcing and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce inventory risks.
  • Collaborate with the Category Ops, Category Marketing, CRM and Media teams to ensure proper visibility of respective categories
  • Devise strategies to increase traffic and conversion metrics by closely monitoring all category funnels.
  • Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and feedback to sharpen the category strategy.
  • Utilize data to identify consumer preferences and ensure the category meets evolving customer needs.
  • Develop pricing strategies to drive volume, optimize margins, and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align on category goals and execution plans.
  • Generate and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to track category performance.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in category marketing management
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and deriving actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of successful campaign ideation and execution.
