Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role based in Gurugram. The Dental Assistant will support dentists during clinical procedures by preparing treatment rooms, organizing instruments, and assisting chairside throughout treatments such as cleanings, fillings, root canals, and cosmetic procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilization, preparing and passing instruments, mixing materials, and managing patient flow to ensure efficient operations. The role also involves welcoming patients, explaining basic procedures, updating patient records, and supporting post-treatment instructions to promote positive patient experiences. The Dental Assistant will collaborate closely with the dental team to uphold clinical quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care, with the ability to support a wide range of general and cosmetic dental procedures.
  • Proficiency in Dental Assisting, including chairside support, patient preparation, instrument handling, and assistance during diagnostic and treatment procedures.
  • Demonstrated skills in Sterilization and infection control, ensuring proper cleaning, packing, and storage of instruments and adherence to clinic protocols.
  • Certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, or a related dental field from a recognized institution.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and team members, including explaining basic treatment steps and aftercare instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Comfort working with modern dental equipment and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.
  • Prior experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated, trainable candidates.
