Role Description

Data Architect – Multi‑Cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP Migration)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Architect having 10+ years of experience with deep expertise across multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hands-on experience in cloud-to-cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture, design, and modernization of large‑scale data ecosystems as organizations transition workloads between clouds.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Migration Architecture Design end‑to‑end data architectures supporting Azure ➝ AWS, AWS ➝ GCP, or similar multi‑cloud migration paths. Define migration strategies for data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, real‑time processing layers, and analytical platforms. Conduct assessment of existing data platforms and propose modern cloud‑native replacements (e.g., Azure Synapse to Redshift/BigQuery, ADF to Airflow/Glue, etc.).

Solution Design & Implementation

Architect scalable, secure, high‑performance data solutions using services such as: Azure: ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Databricks AWS: Glue, Redshift, EMR, S3, Athena GCP: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, GCS Drive design sessions, produce HLD/LLD, create data flow diagrams, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Data Engineering Leadership

Guide engineering teams through redesign, code conversion, and cloud‑native optimization (e.g., BigQuery SQL rewrites, Spark tuning).

Stakeholder & Technical Leadership

Work closely with business owners, product managers, platform leads, and engineering teams. Lead PoCs, evaluate emerging tools, and guide cloud‑agnostic modernization roadmaps.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams. Analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
