Quick Role Overview

As a Cyber Engineer, you will design, implement, and enhance cybersecurity solutions to protect digital assets, applications, and data. The role focuses on embedding security and privacy by design, ensuring compliance with global standards, and collaborating with product development teams to build resilient digital products. You will contribute to developing secure software and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring a culture of cybersecurity awareness and responsibility across all digital functions.

What You'll Bring To The Table

• Proven experience in cybersecurity domains, including Product Security, Threat Modelling, DevSecOps & Risk Managment
• Expertise in implementing cybersecurity frameworks, software security programs, and privacy-by-design practices.
• Ability to translate technical security findings into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and security tooling.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to strengthen organizational security posture.
• Capacity to coach and mentor junior engineers while fostering a security-first mindset.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Pragmatic, result-oriented, and motivated by continuous learning and improvement.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, privacy, or compliance domains within a large corporate environment.
• Knowledge of global cybersecurity laws, standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Some coding experience will be an added advantage
