About The Role

Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS, and Android is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership in their responsibilities. Flexibility to work varied hours based on business needs is essential. Physical stamina to stand, move, and handle merchandise throughout the shift is required, including lifting up to 25 pounds when necessary. A positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with a variety of transactions, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all technologies and products used within the store environment.
  • Inspire trust and foster positive relationships with customers, peers, and leadership.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, defusing potential conflicts with professionalism.
  • Maintain the security and privacy of customer information by adhering to company policies and educating customers as needed.
  • Promote and motivate customers to participate in initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
  • Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Adapt to varying work schedules and assist with additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for all visitors.
