Role Description The Academic Trainer – English is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. The trainer will conduct teacher training sessions and workshops on English curriculum, pedagogy, and use of Next Education’s products in classrooms. Responsibilities include demonstrating effective teaching strategies, supporting curriculum implementation, and observing classroom practices to provide constructive feedback. The role involves preparing training materials, conducting orientation programs for school staff, and documenting training outcomes and recommendations. The trainer will collaborate with academic and product teams, respond to school queries, and travel locally as needed to partner schools.
Qualifications

  • Strong command of English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
  • Experience in teaching English at the K–12 level and familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, or state board curricula.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations for educators.
  • Comfort with educational technology tools, digital content, and classroom audio-visual solutions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse educator groups.
  • Organizational and documentation skills to plan sessions, track feedback, and report training outcomes.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Surat and travel to partner schools as required.
  • Prior experience as a teacher trainer, academic coordinator, or instructional coach is an advantage.
