As a Copywriter at DROPZ, you will own words that move people across the full customer journey, from scroll-stopping hooks to product clarity that drives high-intent action. This is a 0 to 100 startup environment where pace, taste, and accountability matter, you will ship daily, learn through tight feedback loops, and help build a voice that feels premium, urgent, and unmistakably DROPZ while protecting trust.

As a Copywriter at DROPZ, you will own words that move people across the full customer journey, from scroll-stopping hooks to product clarity that drives high-intent action. This is a 0 to 100 startup environment where pace, taste, and accountability matter, you will ship daily, learn through tight feedback loops, and help build a voice that feels premium, urgent, and unmistakably DROPZ while protecting trust.
What You’ll Do
- Write conversion-focused copy across social, ads, web, CRM, and packaging, shaping each message to match intent and funnel stage while keeping tone consistent with DROPZ’s premium, limited-edition positioning.
- Create and iterate high-performance hooks, captions, headlines, CTAs, and ad variants for rapid testing, partnering with Performance Marketing to translate learnings into improved versions that ship on tight timelines.
- Own product page and landing page copy that makes value obvious fast, turning product inputs into buyer language and structuring content for skimming, trust building, and decisive action.
- Write push notifications, email subject lines, and key body sections that drive drop-day momentum, balancing urgency and relevance while keeping messaging sharp, brand-safe, and never spammy.
- Develop scripts, talking points, and punchy on-camera prompts for creators and in-house talent, ensuring the delivery feels natural while staying aligned to drop narrative, key claims, and creative direction.
- Build and maintain a brand voice toolkit, including tone rules, phrases to own, words to avoid, a CTA and headline library, and drop naming conventions so quality scales with speed.
- Adapt voice across modes, including hype for launches, clarity for product education, trust for policies and logistics, and community for comments and DMs, without losing the DROPZ fingerprint.
- Partner with CX to refine shipping, returns, and policy copy that reduces confusion and tickets, improving customer confidence through clear expectations, empathetic language, and consistent formatting.
- Collaborate with Design, Content, and Merchandising to ensure copy and visuals land as one system, reviewing layouts for hierarchy, readability, and message clarity before publishing.
- Run quality checks for grammar, brand tone, and responsible claims, documenting final versions and learnings so the team can reuse winning patterns and avoid repeating mistakes.
- You have 12 to 24 months of writing experience across digital surfaces, and you can show samples that demonstrate clarity, persuasion, and strong taste in both short-form and long-form copy.
- You write with intent, meaning you can explain why a hook works, why a CTA fits the moment, and how you shaped language to reduce friction and increase action.
- You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment and bring daily intensity, personal ownership, and a long-term builder mindset, investing in outcomes and culture, not just tasks.
- You can match and protect a brand voice, spotting off-tone language quickly and rewriting it to feel premium, urgent, and coherent across every touchpoint.
- You are comfortable shipping iterations, taking feedback with openness, and improving quickly through structured reviews, performance learnings, and clear editorial standards.
- You think in systems as well as words, maintaining toolkits, libraries, and conventions so the team scales quality instead of reinventing everything each launch.
- You collaborate with Performance Marketing, Design, Content, and CX with low-friction communication, turning inputs into crisp outputs while staying accountable for your own deliverables end to end.
- You have strong fundamentals in grammar, structure, and readability, and you take pride in clean drafts that need minimal editing to go live.
- You balance creativity with responsibility, avoiding misleading claims and ensuring trust surfaces like shipping, returns, and policies are written clearly and consistently.
- You stay curious about culture, internet language, and consumer behavior, and you bring that awareness into your writing without chasing trends that do not fit the brand.
- Real ownership over high-impact copy surfaces, where your words directly shape conversion, trust, and brand love across drops and everyday shopping moments.
