Role Description

The D365 F&O Finance Consultant will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Finance modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and successful end‑to‑end delivery across implementations, upgrades, and support engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

Lead requirement gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and solution design for D365 F&O Finance modules.
Own end‑to‑end implementation of:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets
Cash & Bank Management
Budgeting and Cost Accounting
Configure financial dimensions, chart of accounts, fiscal calendars, and posting profiles.

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GST, VAT, multi‑country accounting).
Design and validate financial reports, management reports, and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
Support audit requirements and internal financial controls.

Implementation & Delivery

Lead UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
Support data migration, opening balances, and reconciliation activities.
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, extensions, and data interfaces.
Provide go‑live and post‑go‑live (hypercare) support.
Strong accounting knowledge:
GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting
Hands‑on experience with:
Financial dimensions
Multi‑entity, multi‑currency setups
Intercompany accounting

Experience in at least 2–3 end‑to‑end D365 F&O implementations.
