We’re looking for a sharp, strategic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help drive our next phase of growth.

Role Overview

This is a strategic business development role focused on thoughtful engagement rather than transactional outreach. We’re looking for someone who can build meaningful relationships, identify the right opportunities, shape conversations with intent, and convert them into long-term partnerships. The role requires commercial sharpness, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the marketing and creative ecosystem

On Any Given Day, You Might

  • Identify and focus on high-potential prospects aligned with Blink’s strengths.
  • Drive meaningful conversations rather than transactional outreach.
  • Build long-term pipelines instead of chasing one-off opportunities.
  • Represent Blink at industry events, conferences and closed-door forums.
  • Build strong relationships with CMOs, Brand Managers and decision-makers.
  • Ensure Blink remains top-of-mind for future marketing mandates.
  • Work towards maintaining a strong and consistent digital footprint.
  • Identify opportunities in trade publications and marketing platforms.
  • Collaborate internally to amplify thought leadership and agency visibility.
  • Evaluate incoming leads and assess strategic and commercial fit.
  • Decide whether to pursue pitches based on alignment, bandwidth and value.
  • Provide structured feedback internally on opportunities.
  • Understand client requirements with clarity and depth.
  • Tailor Blink’s credentials and service offerings to specific needs.
  • Scope deliverables accurately, estimate effort and timelines realistically.
  • Build commercial proposals aligned with value delivered.
  • Lead cost negotiations with confidence and strategic thinking.
  • Clearly articulate why Blink is the right partner for the mandate.
  • Be deeply familiar with Blink’s capabilities, case studies and offerings.
  • Present credentials with confidence and contextual relevance.
  • Work closely with internal teams to craft compelling pitch narratives.
  • Lead and take onus of the pitch from vetting and understanding the brief to ensuring we have a winning deck.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify work worth showcasing.
  • Liaise on approvals and ensure Blink’s social channels reflect ongoing momentum and relevance.
  • Work closely with the founders on Blink’s investment arm, Coast.
  • Act as a bridge for operational coordination and key external conversations where required

The Ideal Person

  • 4-6 years of experience in Business Development, Client Servicing, or Strategic Partnerships (agency background preferred).
  • Strong understanding of marketing, media and digital ecosystems.
  • Commercially astute with negotiation experience.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Relationship-driven with ability to build credibility in senior rooms.
  • Self-starter with high ownership and accountability.
