Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Compositing Artist with 3-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing shot complexity, performing 2D/3D tracking, chroma keying, and ensuring the seamless integration of various elements such as roto, paint, and 3D. This role requires an eye for detail, strong compositing skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality results on time.

Responsibilities

Analyze project requirements, frame ranges, input formats, and color spaces.

Perform basic compositing, 2D and 3D tracking, and chroma keying.

Match grains and ensure jitter-free, wobble-free output.

Collaborate with Roto, Paint, and Matte Paint teams to complete shots.

Ensure accurate color space and format in final outputs.

Follow guidelines from team leads and provide daily progress updates.

Maintain organized file and folder structures as per project needs.

Skills & Attributes

Strong understanding of compositing techniques, 2D/3D tracking, and chroma keying.

Ability to analyze and solve technical issues within a shot.

Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining continuity and quality.

Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Animation, VFX, or a related field.

3-8 years of experience in compositing.

Experience working with various input formats and color spaces.

Ability to work across different elements like roto, paint, and 3D.
