Blue Aster Chocolates is a premium artisanal chocolate and patisserie brand built on the philosophy of honest, personal, non-mass-produced chocolate. As we continue to grow our B2B and gifting business, we're looking for a Commis Chef with a genuine passion and specialization in chocolate making to join our kitchen team.

What you'll do:

• Assist in the day-to-day production of artisanal chocolates and pralines, working closely with our Head Chef/Creative Director
• Support tempering, moulding, enrobing, and finishing processes to maintain consistent quality across batches
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen in line with food safety standards
• Help manage inventory and ingredient prep for both bespoke orders and recurring B2B contracts
• Support production timelines during high-volume or deadline-driven orders

What we're looking for:

• A diploma/certification in patisserie, chocolaterie, or culinary arts (preferred)
• Prior hands-on experience with chocolate work — tempering, moulding, or confectionery — is a strong plus
• A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to craft and hygiene
• Ability to work well within a small, close-knit team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Genuine passion for chocolate and pastry — this is a craft-first, quality-first environment
