Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Nagpur. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping in compliance with applicable accounting standards. The role includes managing statutory audits, internal audits, tax planning, and filing of direct and indirect tax returns. The professional will monitor budgets, perform financial analysis, support cost-control initiatives, and provide insights for management reporting and decision-making. The Chartered Accountant will also ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, coordinate with external consultants and auditors, and contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
Qualifications

  • Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership; bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • experience required 10+ yrs
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance with Indian taxation laws (direct and indirect taxes).
  • Experience in statutory audits, internal audits, and preparation of financial statements, preferably within manufacturing, energy, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, MS Excel, and other financial analysis tools
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain high accuracy, and implement effective internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail in financial data review.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, operations, and management teams.
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and a strong sense of responsibility in handling confidential financial information.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance, budgeting, cost accounting, and working capital management will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an on-site finance role in Nagpur or similar locations within India is beneficial but not mandatory.
