About Us:

Founded in the year 2017, Amama specializes in making handcrafted jewellery and curates the best jewellery from every part of the world, trying to invoke every feeling you see or hear about jewellery. Amama launched its own marketplace in 2021, giving other homegrown brands a platform to sell their handcrafted jewels.


We at Amama believe, that everyone is very close to the jewellery they own, and even more to the ones that are inherited. Selling jewellery that tells a story and becomes a good pass on is one of Amama's goals.

Amama has already been featured in some of the best publications like

Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper's etc. Celebrities like Yami Gautam, Kangana Ranaut, Masaba Gupta, Rhea Kapoor, Neena Gupta, and Nora Fatehi have also been spotted wearing Amama.

Amama is also a regular with A-lister influencers/bloggers like Komal Pandey, That Boho girl, Masoom Minawala, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh etc.


• Uploading and categorizing products correctly and in a timely manner.

• Checking product descriptions for clear English with correct grammar and punctuation. Filling out other relevant data for each product as may be necessary.

• Maintaining a library of data for various product categories, tags that can be displayed as sections underneath each product (eg Care Guides, Material Details, History or Other Factual Information).

• Responsible for all pages across our Shopify website, ensuring that products are displayed and categorized in the right way.

• Integrating necessary apps and features on the website for smoother UX

• Suggesting UI improvements from time-to-time.

• Ensuring that the website is properly updated regularly and is consistent with what is happening on other acquisition channels.

• Creating a/b experiments with changing the layout of the homepage and header to understand its impact on conversions.

• Make sure that new products are listed within a specific timeline defined in your KPIs.

• Creating, listing, identifying and mapping cross-sells and upsells for customer-curated and standard products.

• Overseeing product setup for day-to-day and seasonal product launches.

• Keeping tabs on existing and new market trends in order to improve existing product listings and new products to help maximize sales.

• Give insights and suggestions into trends in product sales and social media activity.

• Prepare weekly / monthly presentations which include reports on sales driven by curated and customized products including regular products and sales made through the posts on social media. maximum usability.
