Caster Wheel Production Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Caster Wheel Production Engineer to oversee the manufacturing and production of caster wheels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring quality standards, optimising manufacturing processes, and achieving production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily caster wheel production activities.
  
• Monitor the complete manufacturing process to ensure quality, productivity, and timely delivery.
  
• Ensure production targets are achieved while minimising material wastage and downtime.
  
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
  
• Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams for smooth production operations.
  
• Monitor machine performance and schedule preventive maintenance to avoid production interruptions.
  
• Maintain production records, reports, and documentation accurately.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies.
  
• Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in caster wheel manufacturing, metal fabrication, engineering manufacturing, or a similar production environment.

Good knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, quality control, and shop floor management.

Familiarity with production documentation, process improvement, and inventory coordination.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Good leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
