About the Role

We are looking for a Business Operations Manager to oversee and streamline the overall business operations of Hamari Asha, a home décor brand focused on rural women’s livelihood and empowerment.

The role involves managing end-to-end operations across multiple product categories such as bags & pouches, jute products, candles, table linen, and terracotta diya products. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, capable of multitasking, and experienced in handling operations within the home décor, retail, or lifestyle industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily functions of the initiative
• To coordinate product development, purchases, production, distribution and sales.
• To create production and sales plans category wise.
• To ensure stock of finished goods for all categories.
• To manage sales on various e-commerce platforms and coordinate customer orders and deliveries.
• To plan and participate in various exhibitions to increase sales.
• Creates and updates reports, as required, following the Industry standards.
• Executes effective and transparent communication internally and externally.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed 

Desired Skills

• Operations, Merchandising, Purchase & Inventory Management, Commercial Acumen, Costing & Pricing Knowledge of Craft, Textile and Home Furnishing Categories.
• Should have knowledge and follow health, safety, environment and business ethics. 

Qualifications

• Graduate (an MBA is desirable)
• Min 5+ years of experience in a similar role in Retail, Apparel, Fashion or Home Furnishing industry
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong ability to multitask
