Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Business Head in Commodity Sales located in Chennai. The role involves driving sales strategies for commodity products, overseeing day-to-day operations, and managing key client and customer relationships to ensure satisfaction. The Business Head will lead team performance metrics, identify new business opportunities, analyze market trends, and develop strategies to achieve revenue targets. Collaboration with teams across departments and participation in strategic decision-making processes are integral to the role.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of commodity sales, market trends, and strategies to drive profitability
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities for motivating and guiding teams effectively
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for managing client and partner relationships
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills for market research and opportunity identification
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and business analytics
  • Familiarity with Indian ethnic food products and export regulations is a key advantage
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in commodity sales or a related domain, particularly in leadership roles
  • Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
