Sandfits Foundries Private Limited is a pre-eminent iron casting manufacturing company that produces Grey Iron, Ductile Iron, CG Iron, and AD Iron. Sandfits has 3 foundries with a capacity of 60000 tons PA. Sandfits has a dedicated machine shop to deliver precision iron components to customers worldwide. Sandfits Foundries are located in and around Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India and has a certified IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

Key responsibilities

• Identify areas of process and systems that require improvements and also introduce systems in the organization and sustainability
• Identify Nonvalue added processes and activities in the organization and eliminate them so that process are improved and become more effective
• Drive cost savings and efficiency across the functions and units
• Works with Management and Units / Functions to set up the KPIs / Dashboards and ensure that the unit and function leaders follow the dashboards and action plan for improvements
• Leads the cross functional projects across the organization, ensure best practices are followed / deployed across the organization
• Leads change Management across the organization
• Works closely with the Management and senior leadership team ensures alignment across the departments / functions across the organization
• Data driven approach

Skills

Experience in any of the skills – TQM / TPM / Lean / Six Sigma; Strong analytical skills and data driven and data management; Excellent communication skills; Exposure using AI

Experience

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 15 to 20 years’ experience in driving process improvements. Should have worked more than one function in the manufacturing industry and preference will be given to candidates from the automotive industry. The position reports to the Managing Director.
