Role Description The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting revenue growth for Kayachitra By Mridul. This full-time, on-site role in Surat involves meeting prospective clients, understanding their needs, presenting services and proposals, and following up to close deals. The role includes coordinating with the creative and operations teams to ensure client requirements are accurately translated into deliverables, tracking leads and sales activities, and maintaining records in CRM or similar tools. The Business Development Executive will also participate in local networking, manage inquiries from social media or other channels, and provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences to support strategic planning.
Qualifications
  • Client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, present ideas clearly, and manage expectations professionally.
  • Sales and negotiation skills, with experience in lead generation, pitching services, handling objections, and closing deals.
  • Basic marketing and social media familiarity to support promotional activities, brand visibility, and engagement with potential clients.
  • Organizational and coordination skills, including managing multiple inquiries, scheduling meetings, and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset, with an interest in creative, event, or visual experience-driven businesses.
  • Ability to work on-site in Surat, adapt to a dynamic environment, and be comfortable with in-person meetings and field visits.
  • Proficiency in common office and communication tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, messaging apps, CRM systems) is desirable.
  • Relevant experience in business development, sales, or client servicing; a degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
