Business Development Team Lead - Exports Division

Job Description
Who we are looking for
- 10+ years of experience in similar industry (B2B, engineering) with some experience exporting in the electrical engineering industry or similar
- Experience in executing end to end electrical projects (someone familiar with the challenges of installation and commissioning of electrical equipment)
- 5+ years experience in leading a team of 2+ people in a technical sales department
- Not neccessary, but will be nice to have:
- Experience in participating in foreign government tenders
- Experience executing supply, installation and comissioning projects abroad in any international market
- Someone with a well established technical and corporate network in the electrical, steel, energy and general engineering fields.
- Leading a sales and business development team that is focused on the export market - you will have a team and be assigned 4-5 countries to manage. The goal is to bring in business from existing as well as new customers.
- Co-ordinating and supervising the sales activities of the team.
- Market research and identifying new target companies (and/or regions) to export to, finding trade shows to participate in
- Approaching new clients and establishing the company as a registered vendor for them
- Creating technical + commercial offers/quotes for large projects
- Ability to understand technical nuances and explain large solutions to customers
- Building relationships with key customers
- Representing the company at various trade shows around the world
- Visiting our international customers at their international sites
- Regular reporting and review meetings with management
- Handling administrative and reporting tasks including but not limited to
- Preparing review reports on performance
- Scheduling regular reviews with management
- Co-ordinating logistics and shipping
- Supervising accounting and compliance activities
