Who we are looking for
  • 10+ years of experience in similar industry (B2B, engineering) with some experience exporting in the electrical engineering industry or similar
  • Experience in executing end to end electrical projects (someone familiar with the challenges of installation and commissioning of electrical equipment)
  • 5+ years experience in leading a team of 2+ people in a technical sales department
  • Not neccessary, but will be nice to have:
  • Experience in participating in foreign government tenders
  • Experience executing supply, installation and comissioning projects abroad in any international market
  • Someone with a well established technical and corporate network in the electrical, steel, energy and general engineering fields.


What the role entails
  • Leading a sales and business development team that is focused on the export market - you will have a team and be assigned 4-5 countries to manage. The goal is to bring in business from existing as well as new customers.
  • Co-ordinating and supervising the sales activities of the team.
  • Market research and identifying new target companies (and/or regions) to export to, finding trade shows to participate in
  • Approaching new clients and establishing the company as a registered vendor for them
  • Creating technical + commercial offers/quotes for large projects
  • Ability to understand technical nuances and explain large solutions to customers
  • Building relationships with key customers
  • Representing the company at various trade shows around the world
  • Visiting our international customers at their international sites
  • Regular reporting and review meetings with management
  • Handling administrative and reporting tasks including but not limited to
  • Preparing review reports on performance
  • Scheduling regular reviews with management
  • Co-ordinating logistics and shipping
  • Supervising accounting and compliance activities
