Travel:Role Summary

TecTigers is looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business growth and own revenue generation across targeted regions and accounts.

The ideal candidate has a and consistently generating at least USD $5M in new revenue per year. This is a hands-on, hunter-style role focused on outbound prospecting, pipeline creation, and deal closure. The BDM will act as an individual contributor for their revenue target, with strong support from presales, delivery, and leadership teams.


About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead new client acquisition, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to identify new market opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Lead Generation

  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through networking, research, and outreach.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.

Relationship Management

  • Develop long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, and product demos.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
  • Contribute to sales strategies, pricing models, and go-to-market plans.
  • Explore new verticals, geographies, and product opportunities.

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Track and report key sales metrics, forecasts, and performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to optimize client delivery and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting is a plus.
